I cannot fault this hotel, we had our wedding here and everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was amazing, my guests said this too, the rooms were lovely, the service from staff was brilliant, and the wedding..... WOW.... The way the room was set out was amazing, it simply was the best day of my life and I cannot thank Claire and Ellie, and all the other staff for all they done, a huge pat on the back for you guys, you honestly done us proud and I would recommend you a million times over, thank you all xxx
My new husband and I choose the Dukes Head for our wedding. We had stayed here before and always enjoyed it. We had 16 of their rooms for the wedding party and guests. Rooms were all good apart from one little hiccup with one room which was sorted very quickly by Ellie.Claire arranged our wedding for us and on the day was fantastic as were Ellie, Marc and Anil and his team did an amazing job on the food both for our sit down meal and evening Buffett. All our guest said the food was fab and the staff were lovely. Our rooms were clean and tidy and we saw all the housekeeping staff working very hard. The dj recommend by the hotel did a fantastic job on the music. All in all our wedding was just how we wanted it. So thank you all very much and we will be back. One last thing Mitch on reception is always helpful and polite.
We've just had our wedding and our reception at the Dukes Head hotel and wow what can I say!!!.... They certainly delivered in every way! Everything was exactly how I wanted it thanks to the hard work and dedication of their amazing new staff! Especially the manager and wedding planner. Best day ever, hotel perfect location, and fantastic staff. Phenomenal how well they made our day perfect. Food was perfect on the Friday night in the restaurant as well as Saturday for our wedding breakfast. Evening buffet was best ive ever had. Rooms all kept clean tidy and beds are very comfortable. Special mention too the bar staff for Saturday night very attentive.

I had my wedding here on the 3rd June 2017 and Melissa Fletcher was my events Manager. Melissa was fantastic from the start of the planning right through to the end, her eye for detail was fantastic and nothing was ever to much trouble. I had set ideas on what I wanted and needed for the day and everything I asked for was met. The staff who served us during the whole day were brilliant and nothing was to much trouble. I asked for some bottled water at 1am in my room and it was there within 10mins!! Melissa and Sue took the pressure of me, they are the making of any Wedding or event at the Dukes Head Hotel and would recommend using the hotel and these ladies again!
